Building an anti-racist movement among white Unitarian Universalists in ways that are accountable to communities of color.

The first step to become involved with ARE is to become a member or friend of ARE

Use the  Accountability Guidelines  to deepen your understanding and anti-racist practice in institutional, community, & interpersonal relationships and communication, personal practices, reflection, and transformation.  Please consider making a membership pledge if you are able.

Attend conferences focused on Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression, including the annual ARE Conference.  Visit or volunteer at the ARE booth at UUA General Assembly and participate in DRUUMM, BLUU, and ARE-led workshops.  Watch for upcoming ARE events, and collaborate with other ARE members in your region to organize congregational and regional events.

Consider actions you can take as an ally.  Practice.  Take risks.  Stay at the table.
